Rex had seven years of experience as an emergency room (ER) registered nurse prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. 
After obtaining his family nurse practitioner degree at Walden University, he decided to specialize in cardiology in which he was mentored by Dr. Ramin Manshadi. He values education and currently is pursuing adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AG-ACNP) studies at University of Pennsylvania’s online program.
